Dr Adell Naidoo is currently specializing as a Prosthodontist at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. She qualified in 2005, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) degree from the University of the Western Cape.
In 2006, she completed her community service in Kwa-Zulu Natal; in conjunction with volunteering at The Wentworth Foundation, from 2006- 2007, offering her professional services to the underprivileged children. She began practicing general dentistry in 2007 in the private sector, and in the same year qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics (PDD Orthodontics).
She then later relocated to Johannesburg where she continued in private practice from 2010-2017. It was here that the majority of Adell’s patients sought Prosthodontic treatment which sparked her interest and passion for this specialization. Subsequently in 2018, she was appointed as a Registrar in Prosthodontics at the University of the Western Cape.
Adell is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and Women in Implantology Network (WIN) and she has also recently won the ITI Congress 2019 Southern Africa Poster Competition. Adell is now in her second year of the Master of Dental Surgery (MChD) degree and continues to grow and foster her love for Prosthodontics.
