201903 Sjoerd 850x278

After the last meeting sold out in two weeks, we have been able to secure a further course date for 2019. Now in Gauteng. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn truly integrated dentistry from a world-renowned teacher.

The vision of reconstructive dentistry is aimed at creating durable improvements of the entire oral health.

The Academy of Reconstructive Dentistry and the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry share a belief that dentistry should be:

  • Predictable
  • Durable
  • Beautiful

"After years of postgraduate training and continuous lecturing and education, I have developed a deep passion and understanding of reconstructive dentistry. It is an honour to be able to share this passion with colleagues that are as enthusiastic as I am.

After being part of this program, and following the reconstructive philosophy, delegates will be equipped to produce a predictable, durable and highly aesthetic treatment. Through the collaboration of these two academies, you will experience the incredible possibilities that Reconstructive Dentistry offers.

I look forward to welcoming you on this journey with us."

Sjoerd Smeekens

Who should attend?

This collaboration of the two academies is aimed at dentists that are interested in treating more than just the immediate problem. It is for those colleagues that have realized that localized treatment won't always address the greater issues. Often such treatment only leads to long-term failures.

This course is for those who want to learn how to think and treat with an integrated approach, incorporating all aspects of dentistry to achieve long-term stability.

Dentists of all experience levels are welcome to attend.

What you will learn

At the completion of this program, delegates will have a clear understanding and knowledge of:

  • The philosophy of reconstructive dentistry
  • Completing a risk analysis
  • Understand and predict the consequences of treatment choices
  • Structuring of a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Understand the etiology of symptoms
  • Integrate comprehensive dentistry into daily practice
  • Effective management of complex cases including the effective involvement of specialists
  • Creation of predictable and durable function and aesthetics
