Dr Riaan Wolfaardt received his degree in dentistry from the University of Pretoria in 1994 and his first diploma in Dental Implantology (Cum Laude)from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002.
He received his second diploma in Dental Implantology (Cum Laude) in 2011 from the Implant Aesthetic Academy, which Frankfurt University accredits. He received a third diploma in Endodontics from the University of Pretoria in 2020.
Dr Wolfaardt is surgically and restoratively involved with dental implants and a referral practice for Endodontics. In addition, he has lectured both nationally and internationally on dental implantology.
Currently a senior lecturer at the Implant and Aesthetic Academy in Cape Town, he lectures on implant-related prosthodontics in the Basic and Intermediate implant courses that the Academy runs.
He served on the executive committee of the South-African Society of Dental Implantology (SASDI) for four years as the general practitioner's representative on the board. He has been in private dental practice in Johannesburg for the past 28 years.
