The Medically Compromised Patient: Prognostic and diagnostic considerations (in two full mouth rehabilitation cases)
There is a global trend for oral health practitioners to be faced with treating dentate patients that are between their 5th to 9th decade of life. The reality of treating this super-ageing population is that a vast majority of them will have a co-morbidities that needs to be factored into our treatment approach and decision-making process.
This talk will highlight some of the key prognostic and diagnostics considerations when treating these patients that fall within this risk category and how treatment planning decisions can assist with managing these factors.
